Starshatter
Starshatter is my very first finished project in Godot 4.6 . I poured a lot of time into this, just trying to figure out how physics, particles, and weapon mechanics actually work.
The main highlight is the “Frenzy” laser: when your health gets low, the laser changes color and becomes way more powerful—it’s probably my favorite part of the game! If you get swarmed, you can switch to Chain Lightning to clear out groups of enemies in one satisfying blast. Also, don’t forget your Shield (Left button of mouse). It’ll save your life , but keep an eye on the recharge timer!
This is a huge first step for me in game development (for beginner). I’d be beyond happy to get any feedback or tips, even the simplest ones. Thanks so much for giving my game a shot!
